Phoenix Heart Ball China

Porchlight MCG+ is proud to have created a set of custom patterned china for the golden anniversary of the valley’s premier annual fundraiser, The Phoenix Heart Ball. This year’s Heart Ball will be held November 21, 2009, at the Phoenician and as usual will play host to business leaders and the most prominent and well-respected of Phoenix residents. Both corporations and individuals support the event which is attended by nearly 900 guests. Guests enjoy dancing to one of the nation’s top entertainment bands, partake in fine cuisine and benefit from an evening of caring as friends and philanthropists join together to support the mission of the American Heart Association. The success of the Heart Ball is attributed to the 140 volunteer committee members who are responsible for all aspects of the event while keeping expenses under 15 percent. See you there!

About the Phoenix Heart Ball

The late Mrs. Barry Goldwater chaired our very first Heart Ball in 1959. This event netted several thousand dollars and provided a model for succeeding Heart Ball Chairmen. Over the past 50 years, the Heart Ball has raised funds for lifesaving programs and groundbreaking research. Imagine, in 1959, the advances made such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) developed in 1960 the American Heart Association, Coronary Bypass Surgery, Angioplasty, Stent Procedure, Heart Transplant Surgery and other advances did not exist.

Every year, the Heart Ball hosts business leaders and Arizona’s most prominent and well-respected residents. Both corporations and individuals support our “lifesaving” event, which is attended by nearly 900 guests and community leaders to support our fight against the # 1 killer, heart disease and the # 3 killer, stroke.
